There are a number of emo songs that I like, but I realize that listening to one can be quite fatiguing. A few years back, I was able to — well, at least I think I was — listen to Panic! At The Disco’s A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, because I really liked I Write Sins Not Tragedies. (This was at the time I really didn’t listen to the radio much and, venturing away from my stash of alternative rock, pop, boyband and soundtrack CDs [proudly ripped at VBR… which I’m contemplating reripping to FLAC (or maybe ALAC, not sure) now that digital storage devices are bigger and relatively cheaper], marveled at the then novelty of emo.) But now…. I don’t think I can sit through an album of emo artists, especially if there is no break in the high-strung way of singing. One song or two would be okay, but afterward I would need a breather. Sigh. And to think I’ve been eyeing that Fall Out Boy CD…
