I have loved you for a thousand years. I’ll love you for a thousand more.

My favorite love song atm. Apologies to all the Twi-hards who are Pattinson/Stewart fans, but I would have liked this video more if there were only minimal scenes of the Breaking Dawn movie. (Okay, my bad, it is off the soundtrack, but still! 3 Doors Down released a non-movie video for their song which was included in the American Pie soundtrack before, so perhaps it’s possible?) The only ones I wish they would retain are the wedding scenes (it goes really well with the presumably thousand candles around Christina) and the scene where Jacob gets the invitation.   One scene I really don’t like is that of Edward and Bella professing their love for each other. Frankly, it would have worked better if they didn’t include the audio.  Hearing Robert and Kristen exchanging I love you’s broke the solemnity of the song — I think the audio inclusion cheapened the video to a degree.

Also, it’s so much fun to see the scenes with Christina in a black (wedding) gown surrounded by candles and equate her to being the jilted lover.  I also loved the part when the flames were blown out.  Creepy, much?  But seriously, I love the song and it’s perfect for the wedding.

(I like the characters of Edward and Bella and the Twilight books… but I’m not a  Robert and Kristen fanatic. [Perhaps being a Harry Potter book/movie fanatic is enough for a person my age. 😀 ])
