Yahoo! omg! came up with their list of the 25 hottest hunks in Hollywood. I’m okay with all of the choices, but I’m not in agreement with Josh Brolin taking the top spot (I’m not arguing that he shouldn’t be on the list; only that he took the top spot). Oh well, to each his own.

Heath Ledger posthumously wins the Australian Film Institute (AFI) Award for Best Actor for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight. The AFI Awards is the Australian equivalent of the Oscars.

A sequel to Wall Street?

I remember watching Wall Street for my Literature class back in high school. I think I was one of the few who really enjoyed our Literature class, and having to watch this movie starring Charlie Sheen, Michael Douglas and Martin Sheen didn’t seem like school work (although I must admit that given a choice, I don’t think I’d casually rent a copy of this movie because I’m not a fan of any of the actors I’ve mentioned). Michael was very good at playing the ruthless Gordon Gekko, and I think Charlie was able to hold out his own. Michael went on to win the Golden Globe and Oscar for Best Actor.

Cruise Control.

I am quite pleased to know that somehow Hollywood’s Golden Boy is back on the right track, starting from the Oprah interview post-couch antics, and continuing with this hush-hush cameo in the Ben Stiller-helmed Tropic Thunder which stars its director, Robert Downey Jr. and Jack Black.
