Oscar snubbed The Dark Knight for a Best Picture nom. Argh! How could they? (And so that’s the reason for the title of this post.) Thank God they included Heath Ledger in the list… If they didn’t, I sure smell some sort of conspiracy.

Yahoo! omg! came up with their list of the 25 hottest hunks in Hollywood. I’m okay with all of the choices, but I’m not in agreement with Josh Brolin taking the top spot (I’m not arguing that he shouldn’t be on the list; only that he took the top spot). Oh well, to each his own.

I think I was one of the few who really enjoyed our Literature class, and having to watch this movie starring Charlie Sheen, Michael Douglas and Martin Sheen didn’t seem like school work (although I must admit that given a choice, I don’t think I’d casually rent a copy of this movie because I’m not a fan of any of the actors I’ve mentioned). Michael was very good at playing the ruthless Gordon Gekko, and I think Charlie was able to hold out his own. Michael went on to win the Golden Globe and Oscar for Best Actor.

I am quite pleased to know that somehow Hollywood’s Golden Boy is back on the right track, starting from the Oprah interview post-couch antics, and continuing with this hush-hush cameo in the Ben Stiller-helmed Tropic Thunder which stars its director, Robert Downey Jr. and Jack Black.
