Happy New Year! :)

29 and Fighting: A Young Woman’s Battle with Cancer.
Christmas and weddings are joyful occasions that provide their respective “inconveniences” (shopping for Christmas gifts and looking after wedding preparations), and should have been a handful on their own. But the Universe played a sad twist but adding to her already full lap: she has cancer.

A break from all the entertainment.
This should not be here, if only because I told myself I’m supposed to separate my personal thoughts from the ones regarding the entertainment field. But there are times when posting about “interesting” news (and I place that in quotation marks because interesting is such a relative term) could take their toll sometime, and all you want is to take a breather from it all.

Keep Telling Myself It’s Alright.
So says the title of ASHES dIVIDE’s newest album.
We survive
what we can’t change.
So let it fade.
Just let it go.

Seven days is too short for my reading list.
Finished with the finals. But I’ve to submit a paper before I can finally say that I’m officially on sembreak… which will last for a week. Sigh, sigh. Not much of a breather, really.

A pause from all the reading.
So much interesting news — interesting for me, at least — to come up while I’m studying for my finals. Which is just as well, since I can’t dwell on my emotions just much and have the time only to read — and possibly react — on some news.

Realization?
Maynard may have an incredible voice, but I think personality-wise, if ever I would get lucky enough to meet both, I’d be more inclined to chat with Billy.
But of course the possibility of any of us meeting is very remote.

Wuss going on?
I was reading my e-mail, listening to APC on my headphones (I use them instead of speakers so as not to disturb Papa Bear and the whole brood with my “loud” music). And then I look at my Winamp (it’s now working, thank you) and I saw that it was playing Evanescence’s Bring Me To Life daw. No, that can’t be right. So I thought my PC was just lagging or something, so I hit on the forward button. Now Winamp says Backstreet Boys’ Incomplete is playing. No, that can’t be right. I swear I’m listening to APC’s Peace Love and Understanding. There is no way I wouldn’t be able to distinguish Maynard’s voice from B-Rock’s. (Right?)
