Ledger as The Joker
Heath Ledger posthumously wins the Australian Film Institute (AFI) Award for Best Actor for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight. The AFI Awards is the Australian equivalent of the Oscars.
Many observers think that he’ll also get the Oscar Best Actor nomination.
I think he also has a good chance of winning the Oscar, but it depends on how good the other contenders are.
The movie itself and its director Christopher Nolan have good chances on winning Best Picture and Best Director Oscars, respectively.
