The original cast of The Fast and the Furious (Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster) will return for the fourth installment in the franchise. Somewhere along the way I thought the franchise had been mangled, and I’m happy that at least the main cast will return for Fast & Furious. Perhaps this will be a fitting end for a movie that was good enough to have sequels. The movie is slated for release June 2009.
As a bonus to Vin fans, he’ll be directing a 20-minute prequel to Fast & Furious. Hopefully, Universal Studios won’t bungle this up so that it won’t follow in 20th Century Fox’s footsteps and be another Babylon A.D. case.
